My time as a photographer in St. Louis, Missouri has brought me to unique places and events all over the city. Recently, I had the pleasure of traveling to Springfield, Missouri to capture some hilarious moments at “Dual Piano” featuring local musicians Mark Gifford and Damien Kaplan at Hoogland Center for the Arts.

Two men play grand pianos on a blue-lit stage with draped curtains, creating a focused, elegant concert mood.

Performing on two grand pianos, these local Missouri musicians create magic, combining impressive musical talent with improv and comedy in the name of friendly competition.

The show is a mix of popular songs arranged for piano with many unexpected twists and turns. I had a great time capturing their energy as they lit up the stage.

Electrified by their performance, the audience matched Mark and Damien's energy, making for a memorable photoshoot. I am grateful I could experience it for myself!
